Behind the bench · About Max

Max makes sure they leave with a future.
Born in a faraway land, Max spent more than a decade behind the lens before turning to the machines themselves. He still shoots whenever he has a chance, in his signature style of neo-noir portraiture.
Each camera is found the old way: estate sales, forgotten closets, the quiet corners where objects wait for the right hands. Then it goes to the bench. Shutters are coaxed back to life, light seals renewed, glass cleaned until it sees clearly again.
Some are returned to exactly what they were. Others become something they were never meant to be, or retain their battle scars and quirks to become Misfit Cameras.
