Meet Tight-Lipped Tony
A 10x zoom, full manual control, and a battery door that is now screwed shut for its own good.
Tony is a Fujifilm FinePix S5100 from 2004, a 4-megapixel bridge camera that looks like a baby DSLR and acts like one too: a 37-370mm-equivalent zoom, an electronic viewfinder, and full P, A, S and M modes. Is it an SLR? Is it a point-and-shoot? It's the photographic equivalent of a spork, and we love a spork.
Tony's battery door has been reinforced with a screw. Plastic battery doors break eventually, and a screw beats duct tape every single time. Consider it an upgrade. To swap batteries you'll need a small screwdriver, but with four AAs, you'll be doing that less often than you think.
He shoots VGA video with sound at 30 frames per second, and comes with an xD-Picture Card. Remember xD? Fuji and Olympus really, really hoped you would.
