Meet Lost-Remote Larry
Weather resistant, splash proof, 38-90mm zoom, all in perfect working order. He just can't find the remote.
Larry is a Pentax Zoom 90-WR from 1991, a point-and-shoot built for people who take cameras to the beach, the lake, and that music festival where it rained for three days straight. WR means weather resistant and splash proof: better sealing than your average compact. Not a submarine, but he'll laugh at a drizzle.
The 90-WR originally came with a tiny remote that slid into the end of the camera, so you could fire the shutter and zoom from across the room. Larry's is missing. He's been checking the couch cushions for 30 years, like every dad ever. Everything else works perfectly, including the self-timer, which is the remote's lazier cousin.
38-90mm zoom, spot autofocus, infinity lock for shooting through windows, and a two-shot self-timer for the group photo where somebody always blinks.
