A hat, a cigarette brand, and a French-language sales pitch. Parliament has decided the whole thing should look like an occasion.
This original 1960s advertisement features a woman in a hat and makes an interesting crossover between fashion imagery and tobacco advertising. A good page for someone who enjoys period styling. The hat gets my attention first, which may or may not have been what the people paying for the cigarette ad intended.
