A flaming chicken. Astra has chosen a considerably more theatrical dinner than the one I was planning.
This original French-language margarine advertisement dates to the 1960s and gives the food presentation plenty of dramatic energy. A fun kitchen piece for someone who enjoys vintage cooking imagery. You can appreciate the spectacle without adding open flames to your own meal-preparation routine. The original paper will be perfectly content to watch from a safe place on the wall.
