Royal Doulton has assembled figurines, character jugs, and little dogs. The shelf space is apparently your problem.

This original 1950s gift advertisement carries the straightforward instruction “Give Royal Doulton.” It’s a colorful page for a ceramics collector or someone whose harmless interest in a single figurine has quietly become a display cabinet. The advertisement offers a useful compromise: several things to admire, with only one more object to accommodate.

THE DETAILS:

• Original period magazine page, sold unframed.
• Approximate size: 10 × 13.5 inches; portrait orientation.
• Approximate date: 1950s.

Condition: Vintage page with mild toning and light edge wear; inspect photos for details. The exact page pictured is the one you will receive.

I carefully trim each page, place it in a protective sleeve with a sturdy backing board, and pack it with bubble wrap in a sturdy box. You’ll receive the original page shown in the photos, not a reproduction.

Framing: Vintage magazine sizes vary. Use the measurement-mat photo as a size reference, and choose a larger frame with a mat cut to fit this particular page.

I white-balance the photos to show the original colors as accurately as possible. Colors can still vary with your screen settings.
