A countryside illustration, a large cigarette pack, and a brand determined to call the whole arrangement refreshing.
This original Maryland 100’s advertisement dates to around the 1950s and promotes a “Made-for-Menthol blend.” It’s an interesting piece of period tobacco design, particularly if you collect less familiar brands. The landscape and packaging make a good visual pairing, even if you remain unconvinced that a cigarette company should be in charge of your outdoor experiences.
