“When a cut-up rates a scold...” Old Gold has decided to intervene in somebody else’s disagreement.
This original 1940s illustrated cigarette advertisement follows that setup with an invitation to light an Old Gold. An unusually domestic little sales strategy, and an entertaining page to examine as advertising history. The illustration is the attraction now. Any arguments in your own household will have to be resolved without assistance from a vintage tobacco campaign.
