Newport has found a sunny day and would like its product to receive some of the credit.

This original 1963 advertisement features a smiling woman relaxing in the sun beneath “Newport smokes fresher!” The period lifestyle photography is what makes the page interesting now. It would sit nicely in a beach-themed grouping, with all the old holiday atmosphere and no requirement to accept the advertising department’s interpretation of fresh air.
