Marion Hutton in a red gown. The cigarette pack has secured itself a rather glamorous supporting role.
This original 1941 Chesterfield advertisement features the singer alongside the “They Satisfy” campaign copy. The gown and period presentation give it appeal for music, fashion, and advertising collectors alike. A nice example of a brand borrowing some stage presence from someone who had actually earned it.
