Esther Williams and Corn Flakes. Kellogg’s has brought an exceptionally accomplished person to the breakfast table.

This original 1941 advertisement features the swimmer and actress with “The Self-Starter Breakfast keeps me on my toes!” It’s a nice crossover for film, swimming, and food-advertising collections. The page supplies the star power; your own breakfast can continue making its more modest contribution to getting you out of the house.
