Campbell’s would like to help with meal planning, starting with the fairly reasonable suggestion that dinner should exist.

This original Vegetable Soup advertisement puts a colorful bowl at the center of the page and makes its pitch through family meals and convenience. A cheerful kitchen piece for anyone who enjoys old food illustration. It may also provide moral support on evenings when your carefully considered meal plan turns out to be whatever is already in the cupboard.
