“After a point you’re not buying any more car. You’re just spending more money.” Ford has decided to become your financial advisor.

This original 1972 LTD advertisement makes its case through quietness, comfort, and a rather pointed comment about the competition. A nice piece for someone who appreciates full-size cars and advertising with a little edge. The advice is easier to admire when you’re buying an old magazine page than when you’re explaining another car purchase.

THE DETAILS:

• Original period magazine page, sold unframed.
• Approximate size: 10.75 × 14 inches; portrait orientation.

Condition: Vintage paper may show age toning and minor handling wear; please review the photos for this item’s specific condition.

I carefully trim each page, place it in a protective sleeve with a sturdy backing board, and pack it with bubble wrap in a sturdy box. You’ll receive the original page shown in the photos, not a reproduction.

Framing: Vintage magazine sizes vary. Use the measurement-mat photo as a size reference, and choose a larger frame with a mat cut to fit this particular page.

I white-balance the photos to show the original colors as accurately as possible. Colors can still vary with your screen settings.
