“Lady, make up your husband’s mind!” Nash has apparently decided that buying a car requires a small domestic management position.
This original 1940 advertisement features a blue sedan, colorful scenes, and pitches for the Weather Eye and Arrow-Flight ride. The illustrations are lovely; the gender assumptions are very much showing their age. A good page for someone who can enjoy prewar car art while making fun of an advertising department that thought this was how adults should communicate.
